Hello, lads. At first, sorry for not posting for a while, but I had a mix of bad events and a terrible month. Last month wasn’t good for Polish footie as well, if we consider Piotr Reiss being arrested and clashes between Leo Beenhakker and FA. Let’s focus on what might be positive. The nearest opportunity is Poland vs Wales friendly match. Which, in my opinion, might be the hardest game we played against Wales in this decade. Why do I think so?

Ched Evans (on the right) - today's threat
Let’s look at the Welsh squad: Ched Evans upfront, age 21. Collison 21, Ledley 22, Ramsey 18, Gunter 20, Nyatanga 21, Bale 20, Hennessey 22. That’s eight players from possible line-up that are still hot prospects. They will struggle for survival in Welsh national team to keep their place and hopes. To harden their position and grab confidence in Toshack’s eyes. Or hinder their chances, what is the better option for us. What’s also important, they’re playing for top clubs: Evans is a Citizen, Ramsey plays for Wenger’s young side and Bale along with Gunter are Tottenham’s rising stars. A good performance against Poland is what they might need to win or keep a first team spot in home clubs. Of course, they lack experience, and that is what Polish players should look to expose by keeping the pressure, but Welsh players migh win a lot with their ambition, which is always part of young age. Especially, that they are led by a charismatic, ambitious and energetic Craig Bellamy, who is designated to play just behind Evans. A combination of Bellamy and Evans is a possible deadly mixture for Polish defence. Toshack knows it. Our defenders should invent some antidote against this duo, or it’s gonna be hard.
On the other side, the Poles might be distracted. When the tensions between Leo Beenhakker and Grzegorz Lato bursted out, the players backed up their coach. That probably made them more united, but their attention is now focused on something else. I hope the lads will want to regain some confidence after a poor performance against Lithuania and grab another result that could put their coach in favor against FA. A coach, who is beloved by them and held in great esteem. At least it looks like he is. Let’s hope they show that esteem on the pitch. Not only for the coach. For the supporters as well. We need a confidence boost in this hard times.
Cheers.
Till the aftermath of the game, lads.
